Hyundai IONIQ Named Best Hybrid and Best Plug-In Hybrid by U.S. News & World Report

U.S. News & World Report determine the winner of the hybrid category by comparing and combining U.S. News overall vehicle score, starting price, gas mileage, charging speed and capacity from the EPA for 73 hybrid vehicles total. The IONIQ separated itself by a combination of value and impressive technology that Hyundai is known for. 

The 2021 Hyundai IONIQ Hybrid has a starting price of $23,400 and a combined fuel economy of 59 MPG on the Blue model. For comparison, the Toyota Prius ECO is rated at 56 MPG combined and costs $1000 more. 

On the Plug-In side, The 2021 Hyundai IONIQ Plug-In Hybrid starts from $26,700 with a combined MPG rating of 133 MPGe. Hybrid shoppers of all kinds looking for the best combination of price, fuel efficiency, standard technology and unbeatable value should consider the Hyundai IONIQ hybrid models.
